Problem Note 35937: "Multiple definitions of a prompt name
are not allowed" when running a stored process in SAS® Web Report Studio
In SAS Web Report Studio, you might see the following error when running a stored process:
[a12210670249980.733934467421752_0_0] Error Rendering the Report (Rendering
Element) Storedprocess did not run successfully: Multiple definitions of a prompt
name are not allowed. The following prompt name has more than one prompt definition: _odsstyle.!
This error is most likely to occur when the stored process includes a system macro name as a prompt. In the error shown above, the _odsstyle
system macro is used as the prompt value.
When using a system macro name as a prompt value, use all caps in the name. In the previous example, you could prevent the error by using _ODSSTYLE
.
