Usage Note 35133: Setting a User ID/Password prompt for database logon from SAS® Enterprise Guide® when you use a metadata-defined library
To set a User Id/Password prompt for database logon from SAS Enterprise Guide when you use a metadata-defined library, follow these steps:

Right-click the library manager and select the new library.
- In the library wizard, select Default Login to (None).
- After you create the library, right-click the library name and select Display LIBNAME.
The LIBNAME statement should appear, as follows:
libname oracle path=alien schema=scott;
Also, follow these steps:
- Right-click the library and select Properties to display the SqlServer_ODBC_Prompt Properties dialog box.
- Click the Extended Attributes tab.
- Click the New button. Enter prompt for LogiMode and 0 for AssignMode, as shown in the following display. Then click OK to exit.
