Problem Note 34153: Option DBIDIRECTEXEC prevents SAS® Enterprise Guide from opening tables created by PROC SQL
In some cases, an output table might not be generated or a table might not automatically open. This will happen when using the option DBIDIRECTEXEC.
As a circumvention, change the option to NODBIDECTEXEC. The NODBIDECTEXEC option will create a link between the code and the data in the Project Designer and the Process Flow window and will cause the data to open automatically as expected.
The problem also occurs with PROC IMPORT code. The data must be manually opened into the project if desired.
