Problem Note 34066: You cannot enter a negative amount for full book value or fair market value in SASĀ® Financial Management
SAS Financial Management requires the full book and fair market value entries for an acquisition to be greater than or equal to zero. There is no accounting standard which precludes negative entries either for book value or market value, or for both. Hence, customers may use those fields to record investment losses.
