Problem Note 33513: Recipients of SAS® Digital Marketing e-mails can change the destination Web site of any tracked URLs
SAS Digital Marketing enables you to place tracked links in any e-mail broadcast. The links redirect the recipient to a specific Web site. However, it is possible for the e-mail recipient to change the destination Web site. For example, suppose the broadcast link is as follows:
http://www.company.com/bess/redir?path=http://www.sas.com
The recipient can change the target Web site ( www.sas.com) to some other site, as shown in this example:
http://www.company.com/bess/redir?path=http://any-site.com
To disable this functionality, modify the web.xml file that is associated with the bess.war file. Replace every instance of <param-value>redir_disabled</param-value> with <param-value>true</param-value>.
