Usage Note 33324: A problem has been encountered on the server error when running a node in SAS® Enterprise Miner™
When running a SAS Enterprise Miner node you might encounter the error:
A problem has been encountered on the server
To work around the error, verify that all steps in the
Post-Installation Guide for SAS Enterprise Miner 5.3 have been completed. The post installation steps include installing the following hot fixes. It is important to stop all SAS Servers/Services including Metadata, Object Spawner and SAS® Analytics Platform before installing hot fixes, and make sure that there are no open SAS sessions.
E9BC59
(E9BC59 replaces E9BC03 referenced in the documentation) and
E9IH01 should have been installed while completing
Instructions.html. If these hot fixes were not installed, install them.
Additionally, if you licensed SAS
® Credit Scoring, install:
53CREDITSCR.
If you licensed SAS
® Text Miner, install:
32TMINE.
