Problem Note 32704: Mappings and expressions are lost during partial promotion import when referenced external files are not included in the export package
If you import a partial promotion package file (.spk) that contains jobs with external files references, and these external files are not included in the package file, all mappings and expressions associated with these external files are lost.
The only way to avoid this issue is to include the external files in the partial promotion package.
See SAS Note 30548 "Mappings and expressions are lost in job definitions when tables or external files are imported via partial promotion" for information about a related problem that is addressed with a hot fix.
