Problem Note 32238: Numeric data that contains decimals in an HP Neoview table are assigned a DOLLARw.d format in the SAS® System
When numeric data is read from an HP Neoview table where the field has at least one decimal place, the column is incorrectly assigned the SAS format DOLLARw.d. The correct behavior would be to assign the numeric format w.d. However, the HP Neoview ODBC driver assigns the data type AMOUNT to numeric data that contains decimals. As a result, the LIBNAME engine in SAS/ACCESS® Interface to HP Neoview applies the SAS DOLLARw.d format to the column.
