Problem Note 30513: Data Quality options cannot be set correctly when you reference a mainframe workspace server
A prerequisite for using the Data Quality functionality requires you to set options, such as DQ Setup File Location and Scheme Repository on the Data Quality tab in the SAS® Data Integration Studio Options window. If you are referencing a mainframe workspace server, and your Data Quality content is housed in a traditonal mainframe file system, you are unable to specify these options correctly.
The only way to populate these option fields is via the Browse button; these options are not editable. Unfortunately the Browse button does not function with classic mainframe file systems. When you select the Browse button, you do not receive the appropriate file navigation window.
A fix is planned for the Browse capability in a later version of the product.
There is no workaround for this issue.
However, you will be able to edit these options fields and manually enter the correct information after hot fix application.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
