Usage Note 3927: HSM (hierarchical storage management) restores of migrated data sets in SAS/IntrNet® Applications should be avoided
When running SAS/IntrNet® Application Dispatcher applications on OS/390 you should avoid referencing HSM (hierarchical storage management) migrated data sets that will generate restores. These restores may cause slow performance,
especially when the data sets are migrated to tape (Level 2).
To disallow a possible recall, set the system option
S99NOMIG in a
configuration file, on an OPTIONS statement, or at invocation.
This option will issue a message indicating the library has been migrated and will not be recalled. You will need to recall the dataset outside of the SAS/IntrNet application.
