Problem Note 3836: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: a name, -, :, ;, _ALL_,
_CHARACTER_, _CHAR_, _NUMERIC_.
The symbol is not recognized and will be ignored.
ENTERPRISE MINER creates variable names beginning with A_, P_, etc. A
partial list is given in the chapter "Predictive Modeling" in the online
Enterprise Miner Reference.
If a variable in your input data set starts with the same characters as
one of these created variables, then you may see errors in your log such
as:
Syntax error, expecting one of the following: a name, -, :, ;, _ALL_,
_CHARACTER_, _CHAR_, _NUMERIC_.
The symbol is not recognized and will be ignored.
To circumvent the problem, make sure that your variable names do not
begin with the same characters as the variables created by Enterprise
Miner.
