Problem Note 3264: Files With Uppercase Extensions Open in Text Mode (non-color) in the
Enhanced Editor
When opening a file into the Enhanced Editor with an uppercase file
extension (i.e. *.SAS) it will open the file into text mode with no
color coding or font changes. Files with lowercase extensions (*.sas)
open as expected.
The workaround is to rename the file in Windows Explorer, giving the
file a lowercase file extension or save the file with a lowercase file
extension.
