In PROC REPORT, use of the FLOW option on GROUP variables can lead to
unexpected results when used in conjunction with an ACROSS variable. For
the listing output, when a new value of a GROUP variable prints at the
top of a new page and its value flows to the next line, the values under
the ACROSS variable on the first line of the page may incorrectly
display missing values. When this occurs, PROC REPORT does not generate
any errors, notes, or warnings in the SAS log associated with the
problem.

In some cases, the use of the FLOW option on GROUP variables used in
conjunction with an ACROSS variable may fail to produce output and cause
errors which are specific to the operating system.
