Problem Note 3224: IDS node not working with DBMS tables defined via the SAS/ACCESS libname
statement
The Input Data Source node within Enterprise Miner does not work
properly if the source data selected is actually a DBMS table that has
been defined via the new SAS/ACCESS libname statement. A message window
similar to the following is displayed:
Sample could not be generated: Could not
determine size of EMDATA.VIEW_OXR
To circumvent this problem, either use PROC SQL passthrough facility to
create a view or use PROC ACCESS to create access and view descriptors
to point to the DBMS data.
A related SAS Note is #004661 .
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.1 TSLEVEL TS1M0 for this
issue is available at:
http://www.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/81_sbcs_prod_list.html#003224
This fix applies to the client side, even when running a client/server
project and reading data from the server DBMS.
