Usage Note 23484: In ODS HTML output, how can I change the direction of my default output to right-to-left?
There are several ways to specify that the output is right
to left, or other directions. This can be done for the entire document
by adding the <Base DIR> tag with the argument RTL. This can also
be done at the table level by adding the Direction CSS style property
with the attribute RTL.
Below are some examples. The first one
sets the default direction to RTL.
ods html file="temp.html" headtext="<base dir='rtl'>";
proc print data=sashelp.class;
run;
ods html close;
The next two examples add the direction for tables output.
ods path(prepend) work.template(update);
proc template;
define style styles.test;
parent=styles.default;
style table from table /
htmlstyle="direction:rtl";
end;
run;
ods html file="temp.html" style=styles.test;
proc print data=sashelp.class;
run;
ods html close;
/* another example */
proc template;
define style styles.test;
parent=styles.default;
style table from table /
prehtml="<div style='direction:rtl'>"
posthtml="</div>";
end;
run;
ods html file="temp.html" style=styles.test;
proc print data=sashelp.class;
run;
ods html close;
