Usage Note 22067: Cannot tab to or view data in some fields within the FSEDIT window
It sounds like these fields are no longer defined to your custom FSEDIT screen. First, check that the variables are still in your data set. Then invoke FSEDIT and go into screen modification mode by issuing the MODIFY command.
In the FSEDIT Menu window, select Option 2 "Screen Modification and Field Identification". If the underscores for these fields are correct in the FSEDIT Modify window, issue the END command. Before this window is closed, the FSEDIT procedure displays the question
Did you create any computational or repeated fields (Y or N) ? _
Type an N in the space provided. The procedure will then take you directly to the FSEDIT Identify window. When you receive the message
Note: All fields are identified.
issue the WANTED command to be prompted to identify the location of all variables that are on the data set but not currently defined to the screen. If you want to be prompted for each variable individually, issue the WANTED command followed by the name of the variable you want to identify.
