Usage Note 21068: Multiple query requests might take a long time to complete
ODCS Clustering, also referred to as Clustered Query Processors, is an optional configuration for reducing the time SAS® Financial Management queries need to complete processing in a multi-user environment. With clustering, SAS ODCS Server jobs are automatically routed to various machines where the ODCS query processor is running. Clustering is most effective in situations where there are many users with small requests. It does not speed up single computationally-expensive queries.
ODCS Clustering became available in SAS Financial Management release 4.3 and might be useful when the SAS Financial Management application server is running a 32-bit operating system.
For instructions on how to configure ODCS clustering, refer to Chapter 6 of the
SAS Solutions Services 1.4 System Administration Guide.
