Problem Note 20646: Moving the cursor off of a selected Radio Box item before releasing the
mouse can incorrectly show updated selection
When working with the Radio Box control within a SAS/AF Frame entry in
the Windows environment, you might experience a behavior where the radio
box shows that one value is selected while the SCL program reflects the
previously selected item as being selected.
This behavior can occur when you make a selection on a radio box, but
before you release the mouse you move the cursor off the radio box item.
The radio box will visually reflect that the new selection has been
made; however, the actual state of the radio box internally has not
changed. You will find that the radio box label within the SCL program
does not execute and if the selected item is queried from the SCL
program, the previous selection will be returned.
Therefore, to ensure your selection is accepted, make sure you release
the mouse before you move the cursor away from the newly selected radio
box item.
