Problem Note 20036: Batch execution problems result when the Lookup transformation generates
RETAIN and IF statements with line lengths greater than 256 characters
The Lookup transformation can generate RETAIN and IF statements with
line lengths that exceed 256 characters. Lines that exceed 256
characters are truncated, which results in job failure. The SAS® log displays the following message during batch execution:
