Problem Note 19461: Job modifications cause mapping expressions in SQL Join transformations
to disappear
If you modify a job directly before or after an SQL Join transformation, mapping expressions
that reference columns in the modified branch are removed from the Select tab.
The Select tab is located within the Designer tab under the SQL Join properties.
The problem occurs because the columns are linked to a specific table object in the
metadata when source or target columns are referenced in the SQL Join.
If a job modification causes the replacement of a source or a target table object,
all of the expressions that contain references to the original table object are removed,
even if identical columns appear in the new table object.
There is no way to prevent this removal when table objects are replaced.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
