Problem Note 19299: Division-by-zero processing causes severe performance degradation
A DATA step optimization that avoids unnecessary missing value
handling has the side effect of a serious performance penalty when
processing division-by-zero. When the number of these division-by-zero
operations gets large, the degradation can be so severe that the job may
continue to loop until it is cancelled.
