Problem Note 19023: Negative fitted values from Curves:Kernel incorrectly set to zero
In a FIT(Y X) window, if kernel smoothing is done by clicking
Curves:Kernel, then any negative fitted values are incorrectly set to
zero. To avoid the problem, add a constant to the Y variable that is
sufficiently large to make all fitted values positive. Alternatively,
use Loess, Spline, or Local Polynomial, Fixed Bandwidth to obtain a
smoothed fit.
