Problem Note 19018: Filter might cause error when attempting to change input table in the
Query Builder
You might receive an error when you attempt to change the input table in
the Query Builder of SAS Enterprise Guide. In the Query Builder, if you
select the Join button to open the Join window, right-click on the
table, select properties and attempt to change the input table, you
might receive the following error:
The table c:\cfar_subvar.sas7bdat that you are attempting to switch is not valid for use with the current settings of this query.
This error can result even if the file you are changing to is an
identical copy of the original input data.
The workaround is to remove the filter prior to changing the table name.
You can cut the current filter into a Notepad window or text file,
modify your input table, and then reapply the filter by copying and
pasting the filter back into the query.
