Problem Note 18873: Source-to-target mappings can be corrupted in the new SQL Join
transformation
Code that is generated by the new SQL Join transformation, which was
introduced in SAS® Data Integration Studio 3.4, can contain scrambled or incorrect column mappings between the source and target tables.
This problem is the result of issuing a column sort in the Source or
Target list box on the Select tab that is under the Designer tab of the SQL Join Properties window.
A workaround for this problem is as follows:
- Delete all of the mappings between the source and target tables
that are currently defined on the Select tab.
- Select OK and save the job definition.
- Open the job and return to the Select tab. Then, redefine all of
the mappings WITHOUT performing any column sorting.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
