Usage Note 18862: How to use the Model Scoring Wizard in SAS Enterprise Guide
The Model Scoring Wizard in SAS Enterprise Guide enables you to score a
data set against an existing SAS Enterprise Miner predictive model.
Before accessing a model from the Model Scoring Wizard, the model that
creates the scoring code must be created and validated in SAS Enterprise
Miner and the code that was generated by the model must be saved in the
SAS Metadata Repository. A GROUP for the model must be created through
SAS Management Console and registered to store the model. It is from
this group/folder that you will select the model in the Model Scoring
Wizard.
SAS Enterprise Guide can now apply the scoring algorithm to data within
the SAS Enterprise Guide project. To do this in SAS Enterprise Guide,
follow these steps:
1. Select the data to score and add it to the SAS Enterprise
Guide project.
2. Select a scoring model from the SAS Metadata Repository.
3. Map data variables to the model inputs. SAS Enterprise Guide
maps like variables by default.
4. Select the output data columns.
5. Select items to include in the output.
6. Save the output data. SAS Enterprise Guide searches the list
of libraries defined in
Tools -> Options -> Tasks -> Output Library
It then writes to the first writable library from the list.
7. Click Browse to open the SaveAs dialog box.
8. Confirm your selections and make any necessary changes.
9. Select Finish.
