Problem Note 18614: Incorrect BY variable values in OUTROC= data set
If a BY statement is specified and if a numeric BY variable has length
less than eight, then the values of the corresponding variable in the
OUTROC= data set will be incorrect. Usually zero will be used for the
value of that BY variable in all observations.
To avoid the problem, replace the BY variable with a variable of length
eight.
