Problem Note 18341: SASĀ® Splitter target objects do not establish correct linkage when used as direct input to a Lookup transformation
Beginning in SAS® Data Integration Studio 3.4, target table objects
appear as separate objects within the Process Editor. If you attempt to
use the target objects associated with a SAS Splitter transformation as
input to the Lookup transformation, incorrect linkage between the
transformations might occur and incorrect code might result.
One workaround for this issue is to route the SAS Splitter output into a
regular metadata table object, either after the target table object or
instead of the target table object. Then feed this table object into the
Lookup transformation.
