Usage Note 17930: CDA Table cells do not update unless calculation set to "automatic" in Microsoft Excel
There is a change in behavior with how values in CDA tables are refreshed in SAS® Financial Management release 4.2.
If a CDA table has been created using the SAS Financial Management Add-in for Microsoft Excel and data in the model are impacted (via a Data entry table, by posting adjustments or from loading data from the DDS), the values in the CDA table will only refresh if the Calculation method is set to "automatic" in Excel. The Calculation method can be set by selecting Tools > Options > Calculation from the menu bar in Excel.
In SAS Financial Management release 4.1, CDA table values would update if you selected SAS Solutions > View > Refresh All from the Excel menu bar or selected the refresh "lighting bolt" icon on the Excel toolbar. Selecting Refresh All or the lightning bolt icon will not update CDA table values in SAS Financial Management release 4.2.
