Usage Note 17753: Hardcoding a TCP/IP port for the SAS/CONNECT Spawner on z/OS results in
an LSCX879 Warning message in the Spawner's STDERR file
During the customization of the SAS/CONNECT Spawner on z/OS, a TCP/IP
port maybe coded instead of a TCP/IP Service name for the -SERVICE
Spawner parameter. Even though this is a valid choice the following
warning maybe seen in the Spawner's STDERR file:
LSCX879 **** WARNING **** ERRNO = ENFOUND Generated in GSBNM called from
MAIN(DAEMON) Data set does not exist: TCPIP.ETC.SERVICES Interrupted
while: Opening file "//DSN:TCPIP.ETC.SERVICES"
The GSBNM (Get Service By Name) function is called even though a
TCP/IP port number is hardcoded. The warning can be ignored.
