Problem Note 17617: Opening SAS® data sets into Excel pivot table with the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office causes filtering failures
Filtering failures occur when you open SAS data sets into Excel
worksheet pivot tables. As a result, you can receive error messages that
include XML exceptions and SAS message severity errors. For example:
Microsoft Excel
<?xml version="1.0"?><Exceptions><Exception><SASMessage severity="Error"
>SQL View WORK.xxxx_xxxxx_xxxxx could not be processed because at least
one of the data sets, or views, referenced directly (or indirectly) by
it could not be located, or opened successfully,
</SASMessage></Exception></Exceptions>
