Usage Note 15945: SASLOG ERROR messages generated when ERRORFLG is part of the SETINIT
In Version 8 and beyond, SAS will generate the following ERROR if an
unlicensed product is called and ERRORFLG is part of the SETINIT:
ERROR: The SAS/XXXX product with which XXX is associated is either
not licensed for your system or the product license has
expired. Please contact your SAS installation representative.
In Version 6, the behavior was different. SAS generated a WARNING and
allowed processing to continue as though on a backup processor:
WARNING: The SAS/XXXX product with which XXX is associated is not
licensed for this CPU. The SAS System assumes that this CPU
is being used as a backup CPU.
Beginning in Version 8, the ERRORFLG option also requires a product
match for the CPU on which SAS is running.
