Certain Microsoft Excel date values might not import properly in SAS®
Enterprise Guide®. Although the data is correct when viewed in Microsoft
Excel, in certain cases, some of the date column values will import
correctly while the other date values may be missing or cause an error
regarding invalid data. In some cases the problem is related to embedded
line feed or carriage return characters. In those cases, one row of data
may be converted into more than one line of data.
