Problem Note 15034: "Floating point overflow" when using informat of 2E308 on Windows 64-bit
systems
If you apply a numeric informat to a value in the form of 2E308,
the following error message appears:
ERROR: Floating Point Overflow.
This affects SAS 9.1.3 under Windows 64-bit systems only.
This will be fixed in a later release of SAS.
