Problem Note 14368: Sorting on horizontal matrix affects vertical matrix in SASĀ® Web Report Studio
When viewing a report with a layout matrix for graphs or tables in SAS
Web Report Studio, it is possible to apply a sort to the horizontal and
vertical sides of the matrix. However, when you sort either side, the
other follows automatically. For example, if the matrix is for YEAR and
QUARTER, if you sort descending on YEAR, QUARTER will also change to
descending.
To circumvent the problem, apply a format on the other dimension; in
this example, sort QUARTER ascending.
