Problem Note 14297: z/OS INFILE options may cause FLOWOVER behavior
Some z/OS host specific INFILE options may cause FLOWOVER behavior.
When this occurs, the following message is written to the SAS log:
NOTE: SAS went to a new line when INPUT statement reached past the
end of the line.
The problem is due to an internal instruction not comparing the
correct lengths for setting host values. The list of options which
can cause this problem are:
VTOC, VSAM, ISAM, QSAM, DEVTYPE=, JFCB=, UCBNAME=, VOLUME=, and
CCHHR=
This problem does not occur when processing external files using the
BSAM or BPAM access methods.
