Problem Note 14069: Editing values in SAS Enterprise Guide Data Grid may cause truncation
Editing character values in the Data Grid within SAS Enterprise Guide
may cause truncation. This will most likely occur if the data values are
over 12 characters in length.
You can circumvent the problem by adding a new column to the table. To
add a new column, select the Data pull-down and deselect the Read Only
item. Then select Data => Columns => Insert. In the Insert window,
specify a name for the new column, change Type to Character, and change
Length, to an appropriate value. Also change Format and Informat to have
and overall width the same as the Length field. Click on the OK button
to create the new column. You can now enter more than 12 characters for
values in the new column.
