In a model using one of the spatial covariance structures, TYPE=SP( ),
if the user passes one or more coordinate variables, PROC MIXED will
produce incorrect results if:

   1. the response variable has a missing value

and

   2. one of the coordinate variables has a missing value.

Under these conditions, PROC MIXED incorrectly determines the number of
observations used in the analysis. This affects all subsequent
calculations.

To circumvent the problem, exclude observations from the analysis for
which one or more of the spatial coordinates or the response have
missing values.
