Problem Note 13832: "WARNING: the XXXX product with which XXXXXX is associated will expire
within 30 days" should instead say 45 days
If the SAS license is in the grace period, Warning messages appear
in the SAS log window:
WARNING: Your system is scheduled to expire on September 28, 2004,
which is 35 days from now.
Please contact your SAS Software Representative to obtain
your updated SETINIT information. The SAS System will no
longer function on or after that date.
WARNING: The Base Product product with which Session Manager is
associated will expire within 30 days. Please contact your
SAS installation representative to have it renewed.
WARNING: The Base Product product with which DMS Process is
associated will expire within 30 days. Please contact your
SAS installation representative to have it renewed.
Recently, the warning period changed from 30 days to 45 days, but the
second and third warning messages in the above example still reflect
the 30-day warning period. The message will change in a future SAS
version to expire within 45 days.
In the meantime, refer to the first warning message in the log for an
accurate time period. For example, in the messages above the first
warning message is correct. It reads:
WARNING: Your system is scheduled to expire on September 28, 2004,
which is 35 days from now.
