Problem Note 12639: TERADATA large decimal values not inserted correctly with the SAS/ACCESS
Interface to Teradata
When using the SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata, you may receive
incorrect results when inserting data into a table containing Teradata
large DECIMAL or NUMERIC values. When the SAS input value has a scale
that exceeds the scale of the declared Teradata NUMERIC or DECIMAL
specification, then there exists the possibility of a rounding error
occurring, and an incorrect value would be stored in the database.
We are currently working on a hotfix for this issue.
