Usage Note 12679: Catalogs created for a different operating system require SLIBREF on the
PROC MIGRATE statement
In SAS 9.1 or later, submitting PROC MIGRATE from a 64-bit SAS session
to migrate a 32-bit library containing data sets and catalogs will
generate an error message unless the option SLIBREF= is used.
PROC MIGRATE migrates the data sets successfully and generates the
following error regarding the catalog(s).
ERROR: File TESTME.CATALOG.CATALOG was created for a different
operating system.
WARNING: No data is available.
The SLIBREF= option must be used for migrating catalogs when the IN=
source library is 32-bit and the OUT= target library is 64-bit.
Using the SLIBREF= option on the PROC MIGRATE statement referencing a
libref assigned through a SAS/SHARE or SAS/CONNECT server should remove
the error.
