Usage Note 12672: Warning: Cannot use JVM pre-1.4 access bug workaround die to restrictive
security manager
When using the Information Delivery Portal version 2.0 with Apache's
Tomcat, Tomcat may abort after a few minutes and the following messages
may occur in the Tomcat log:
"WARNING: Cannot use JVM pre-1.4 access bug workaround die to
restrictive security manager."
JVMDG217: Dump Handler is Processing a Signal - Please Wait.
JVMDG303: JVM Requesting Java core file
JVMDG304: Java core file written to
/usr/tomcat41/bin/javacore802856.1086961239.txt
JVMDG215: Dump Handler has Processed Exception Signal 11.
./StartWithSASEnvironment.sh[17]: 802856 Segmentation fault
This problem will occur when using the IBM's AIX 64-bit operating system
and the IBM 64-bit JDK 1.4.1.3. IBM has an known problem with their
64-bit JDK.
To correct the problem, use the 32-bit JDK 1.4.1.4 with the AIX 64-bit
operating system.
