Problem Note 12302: PROC TABULATE fails to produce error in the ODS destinations in SAS 8.2
regarding limit on potential interactions
In SAS 8.2, PROC TABULATE output routed to any of the ODS destinations
except the default LISTING fails to produce an error message informing
the user that a limit of potential interactions has occurred. Incorrect
results can appear in the ODS output.
When the output is routed to the LISTING, the following error message
will appear and no output is generated.
ERROR: Page size too small to print any data for the table statement
at line xxx.
In SAS 9.1, PROC TABULATE correctly generates the following ERROR
message and no output:
ERROR: Limit of 2147483647 potential interactions for a crossing
exceeded for the table statement at line xxx.
