A session saves all global macro variables whose names begin with SAVE_.
These variables will be available in later request programs that share
the same session.

The %SYMDEL macro of SYMDEL function is used to remove a macro from the
Global symbol table.  SYMDEL does not currently remove the SAVE_
variable from the Session SAVE_ variable list.  SYMDEL does remove the
variable from the current GLOBAL SYMBOL table.  The next request will
still have the SAVE_ variable with its previous value.

To circumvent this problem, use logic that expects that the variable be
removed from the permanent list of SAVE_ variables for the SESSION.  One
technique would be to save the value as missing.
