Problem Note 10866: Text Pad cannot store a single character value in column 1
When using the Text Pad control on Windows XP, be aware that lines
containing only one character may not be stored properly with the
object. If a line contains only one character and that character is in
the first column of the Text Pad control, querying the text attribute
will return a list with missing values for the lines that match the
above description.
