Problem Note 10467: Copying and pasting communication details in the Campaign Reference Data screen might not work
If you try to copy and paste communication details in the Campaign Reference data screen of SAS® Campaign Management, the information might fail to copy properly. If the AUTOCOMMCODE configuration option is set, then you can copy details from only the Communication Name column onwards, rather than from the beginning of the communication row.
To copy multiple cells to the clipboard, first select the cells to copy. Next, select Copy from the Edit menu. If you right-click on the cells and attempt to choose Copy, you can see that the Copy option is unavailable when multiple cells are selected. The Copy functionality is available, however, if you right-click when only a single cell is selected.
To paste multiple cells from the clipboard, select the cell that you want to be the top left corner of the pasted area. You can do this either by clicking on the cell or by moving the selection cursor to the cell. Next, choose Paste from the Edit menu. As with the Copy functionality, the Paste functionality is not available from the right-click menu for use with multiple cells.
You can also paste a subset of cells from the clipboard into a specified range of cells in the grid. To do this, select the set of cells that you want to copy into. Next, choose Paste from the Edit menu. Only the row and column data that corresponds to the range of cells that you have selected are pasted into the grid. As with the examples above, the right-click menu option is disabled in this situation.
