The reported problem includes errors that occur when metadata are not
local or when ODS tables or InfoCubes are extracted on a remote host:

1) In SAS/ACCESS Interface to SAP BW, if you extract data from
more than one ODS table or InfoCube locally using remote SAP BW
metadata, you will receive an error similar to the following and the
extraction will fail:

 ERROR: 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: a name, a
 quoted string.

 1168 proc download data=.FIELDS
                -----
                 202

2) When extracting an InfoCube or ODS table on a remote host, you will
receive nuisance error messages similar to the following:

 WARNING: Apparent sybolic reference LANG2 not resolved.

 ERROR: A character operand was found in the %EVAL function or %IF
 condition where a numeric operand is required.  The condition was:
 &sysrc=-1 and &lang2 ne EN

 ERROR: The macro GETTEXT will stop executing.

3) When extracting an InfoCube on a remote host, you will receive
errors similar to the following and the extraction will fail:

 ERROR: The table <name of SAP BW fact table> is not in the data
 dictionary.

 ERROR: File SI4SNOW._BIC_DE_PRDSALA1.DATA does not exist

4) When extracting an ODS table on a remote host in Change Data Capture
Mode (CDC), you will receive the error below and the extraction will
abort:

 ERROR: File WORK.RSREQICODS.DATA does not exist.
