What is SAS® Global Forum?
SAS® Global Forum 2013 – Strength in Numbers
What is it that sets SAS® Global Forum apart from other technology conferences? Why is SAS so special?
For one, it’s the data we crunch – the insights and knowledge that SAS software draws out of high-velocity, dizzyingly complex data. Lightning-fast computations involving huge numbers – unmatched in the industry. And it’s also the SAS practitioners, thousands strong, who work with SAS day in and day out and who make SAS Global Forum a success year after year.
But it’s even more than that. Because something incredible happens when these two forces – data and people – come together. Call it a whole more than the sum of its parts. Or simply call it amazing results.
At SAS® Global Forum 2013, we call it Strength in Numbers. It’s the conservation agency that uses SAS to protect endangered species and their habitats in more than a hundred countries. And the hospitals that are able to predict the number of cancer patients who will need chemotherapy in two years. It’s the bank that stops fraud in its tracks the second it happens. And it’s the organization that spends its time creating a new product that changes the world – rather than struggling to manage its data.
Those are the numbers that count. That’s where our strength lies. It’s when SAS practitioners like you transform data to shape the world around us.
Celebrate Strength in Numbers at SAS Global Forum 2013.
SAS® Global Forum – The Basics
SAS Global Forum 2013 is the premier event for SAS professionals worldwide, offering unequaled educational and networking opportunities, just as the conference has since 1976.
The conference is an annual event planned and sponsored by the SAS Global Users Group, which is open to all SAS software users throughout the world. The SAS Global Users Group is governed by an Executive Board whose membership is composed of individuals who have been selected to chair the annual conference plus three SAS Institute representatives. The organization was formed to provide a means for SAS software users to exchange ideas, explore ways of using SAS software and participate in activities of mutual interest.
