Session Abstracts and Schedules - The Personal Agenda Builder
The SAS® Global Forum experience represents an unparalleled opportunity for acquiring and honing SAS skills through 2 1/2 days of conference presentations, as well as pre-conference activities, including seminars, statistical tutorials, and classes sponsored by SAS . With hundreds of papers, presentations, hands-on demonstrations and more, planning your time is the only way to ensure you get the most out of what this conference has to offer.
To help maximize your time and opportunities, the application will allow you to filter your search by any combination of day, company, industry, paper type, section, and skill level, as well as search for keywords.
Exploring Or Building a Sample Agenda
Even without being registered for the conference, you may browse through the paper schedule and read the abstracts. To view an abstract, simply click on the paper title.
In order to choose a presentation or event for inclusion in your sample agenda:
- Use the search filters to navigate through the various offerings.
- Click on the desired paper title.
- Click “Add to Agenda.”
- Continue to search and select.
TIP: Click on "Print Agenda" to see all the abstracts of the items selected.

Building a Retrievable Personal Agenda
NOTE: It can take up to 24 hours after you register for your Agenda Builder account to be established. If you are already registered for the conference, creating a Smart Site Profile will allow you to use this tool to develop and save your Personal Agenda. You will then be able to access your Personal Agenda from any Web browser or the conference mobile apps.
First-Time Users
Easy steps to follow:
- Only registered SAS Global Forum 2013 attendees will get a Smart Site account.
- A Smart Site account will automatically be created for you approximately 24 hours after you have received a confirmation from the conference. Until the account is established, you will not be able to access the system or create a profile. Please be patient.
- Once your Smart Site account is established, you will need your conference confirmation number to log in. The confirmation number can be found in the confirmation email from the SAS Global Forum registrar.
- You will be asked to enter your confirmation number and last name.
- To begin, click on “Build a Retrievable Agenda” below.
- Click on First Time User.
- Once the system recognizes you, you will be given the opportunity to create a login ID and password of your choosing for the Smart Site account. Use that login ID and password from then on.
Subsequent Use
- On the Welcome screen, select “Plan your event schedule.”
- Click on “Sessions” to explore all the presentations.

Viewing/Editing Your Personal Agenda
Under the “My Agenda” tab, you will see your selections as well as some pre-scheduled items that appear for all conference attendees. You may delete any item you added, as well as create and schedule a personal event, such as “Visit Demo Area” or “Meet Mary for lunch.” Using the Print Agenda feature on the left will expand your agenda to include any description or abstract for each item.

Your Personal Agenda is automatically saved and is available to you any time you log in after you set up a Smart Site profile.
Building your agenda does not reserve you seat in a paper presentation.
