Are you new to the SAS community? Is this your first time at SAS Global Forum? Don’t worry. The First-Timers’ Session makes it easy for you to learn about the conference. We’ll guide you through SAS Global Forum 2013, help you choose the best sessions and give you tips for getting the most out of your conference experience.

Lunch and Featured Presentation*

Tuesday, April 30, 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.

Come enjoy lunch with fellow attendees and enjoy this featured presentation by Tim Patrick, Director of Enterprise Applications with the United States Olympic Committee. Patrick’s talk, “London 2012 Olympics: Real-Time Data and Analysis,” will show how London 2012 Olympic data was used to visualize and analyze events during the London 2012 Games and how it is likely to change the approach to Olympic sports analysis in the future.

SAS® Global Forum Charity Event: Bicycle Building and Care Package Assembly

Tuesday, April 30, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Come network with fellow SAS users while doing something great for the San Francisco-area community! You can roll up your sleeves and build bikes, assemble care packages or do both! This is a great chance to do something different with your SAS comrades while having fun and giving back. Please be sure to sign up in the registration application.
