  • Opening Session

      As the official welcome to SAS Global Forum 2013, this evening event sets the stage for the days ahead. You will hear from Rick Mitchell, this year’s conference chair, as well as key members of the SAS Executive Team, including Jim Goodnight, CEO of SAS.

  • Technology Connection
    • Monday, April 29
      Livestream from 8:45 – 10:00 a.m.

      See what’s new in the world of SAS technology and discover how you can apply SAS more effectively, as presenters from SAS R&D and Product Management offer a preview of SAS 9.4 and other key product releases. Plus, SAS will review the results of this year’s SASware Ballot®.

  • Featured Keynote Luncheon Presentation
    • Tuesday, April 30
      Livestream from 12:30 – 1:15 p.m.

      For the first time in history, the National Organizing Committee for an Olympic games provided a high-quality XML-based real-time data feed for all activities related to Olympic competitions to each participating country. The consumption of this data provided an unprecedented opportunity to observe in detail how the games were unfolding from the level of country, to the level of individual athletes, and in some cases at cross-sections of the competition as it unfolded. This talk will show how London 2012 Olympic data was used to visualize and analyze events during the London 2012 Games and how it is likely to change the approach to Olympic Sport Analysis going forward.

    • Wednesday, May 1, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.
      Join your fellow attendees and reminisce about your favorite events at SAS Global Forum 2013 with Rick Mitchell, Conference Chair. Also hear from Roger Craig on how predictive analytics changed his life and how you can apply the lessons you have learned at the conference beyond your office walls. Finally, learn about some of the plans for SAS Global Forum 2014 from Marje Fecht, Conference Chair for 2014.
